Except for the Executive Committee, which is established by Statute, the list of committees changes from time to time based on the recommendation of the Governance Committee. In addition, ad hoc committees are established as needs arise. Much of the work of the Board of Governors is done through its standing and other committees.

Recommendations for Committee Chairs and Committee member appointments are presented each year by the Governance Committee and approved by the Board at its Annual Meeting in June.
